Sometimes, I really can't believe I get to do what I do in life. It's surreal and really quite phenomenal actually.

As a christian, I struggled forever not knowing what "my gift" to the world would be. I longed to be able to say "this is what I'm meant to do in life." And it wasn't until I started planning and working with phenomenal clients & vendors that I understood that my gift is a servant's heart. I am so incredibly blessed to work with such wonderful clients and see their vision come to life on their day and know they are able to savor every second of it and remember it for a lifetime. To me, that is what is truly awesome about my job. And as the principal planner of It's Your Time Events, I pour my heart and soul into each event as though it were my own.

Just as I am inspired and captivated by my brides and grooms, I am equally enamored with family time and natural light and real life and capturing moments that are all too soon forgotten or irreplaceable. For this reason, I have split my business between planning and photography. I love them both and enjoy them immeasurably.

For my brides and grooms this is an advantage! I already have an understanding of the elements of a wedding and the importance of capturing real moments and details in an aesthetically pleasing way which allows me to help you design an event which can be photographed beautifully.

We love to travel and tell your stories on film and digitally (we're hybrid). I have a deep love for natural light and my style is best described as natural. Using a mix of photojournalistic, editorial, and fine art styles, I strive to document sincere moments and tell my clients story in the most realistic way. Everyday I’m so honored to share the beauty of what I see behind my lens and remind my clients of beautiful moments and memories.

A little about me outside of work

New Orleans is my home (it's where momma is), but France and Italy are where my heart and soul were stolen. I love fields of lavender, and dream of photoshoots and weddings in Provence. Traveling is a must; preferably to Italy + and France. Soft touches, huge hugs, rolling hills, grand architecture, chocolate & wine (together or separate), and old movies are some of my favorite things. I adore drippy and romantic florals filled with lots of green and pops of the softest colors on peonies + fluffy dahlias.  When I'm not working, you can usually find me researching my next creative workshop, spending time with family and/or friends over dinner and a couple glasses of wine, or out exploring the wonderful world we live in with a camera in my hands.

I am so incredibly blessed to work in the wedding industry where I am able to meet so many new and wonderful people! On top of that, my work allows me to be creative and express my loves visually. The absolute best part of my job is seeing it all come together and being there to see you experience it all for the first time.

I enjoy collaborating with my clients and their vendors to make every detail meaningful to them and their loved ones. I love being by my clients' side on their wedding days. It ensures that they are able to relax, have fun during the creative planning process and most importantly, feel like a guest & fully enjoy their wedding days. I couldn't ask for more!
